Bo Lewington

Coach

Bo played for the Calgary Redbirds and attended the National Sports Academy in high school. He then played 2 years at Southeastern Illinois College (NJCAA Div. 1 - GRAC) as a starting pitcher, his sophomore season cut short by Tommy John surgery and the following red-shirt year of rehab spent at the University Of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (NCAA Div. 1 - SWAC). Bo continued his rehab outside of school at the Driveline Baseball facility in Kent WA where he learned a different approach to pitching altogether, and would return in the off-season during the next 5 years of independent league pro ball. With a new arsenal of pitching and mobility knowledge Bo would go on to pitch for the High Desert Yardbirds 2017 championship team in the Pecos League, spend time overseas in Perth Australia working with young athletes and playing for the South Perth Cubs in the WA State League, and eventually finish his career with the London Majors 2022 championship team in the Intercounty Baseball League. Able to instruct in all aspects of the game, Bo’s expertise is in pitching development and the mental approach required to play the game at a high level. Years of competing against and training next to professionals in the gym and on the field has given him an understanding of what it takes to get to the next level, as well as the ability to correct any movement deficiencies that would prevent that success.

Bo is currently coaching with Alberta Cal Ripken and Coyote Youth Baseball.
